If you have trouble sleeping you know how valuable a good night sleep can be. Instead of turning to addictive or harmful medications, look to the natural, healthy way to get a good night’s sleep, and even reduce or stop snoring!*
A few tips on better sleep:
Our quality of sleep is affected by what we eat and drink. Remember to leave plenty of time between eating and drinking and your sleep. A good rule of thumb is two or more hours before bedtime for food and 30 minutes or more for drink.
Exercise during the day or early in the morning. This helps to induce better sleep patterns.
Create a pleasant environment around your sleeping area. Eliminate bright light sources and noises.
Essential oils can assist with sleep. Some of the oils and blends which may be useful include:
Select an oil or blend and place 2-3 drops on your palms. Inhale deeply. Place 2 drops on your pillow or your feet for added assistance.
Apply Thyme oil to bottom of feet.
Oil may also be diffused throughout the night to assist with breathing and relaxation.
